(Chico) Coldwell Banker Commercial is proud to announce the sale of the preeminent Hignell, Inc. corporate headquarters, as part of a multi-property exchange transaction.
The three building campus property with approximately 20,545 sq. ft. was sold June 30th to an investor for an undisclosed purchase price. The offering consisted of two Class A office buildings totaling approximately 13,665 sq. ft. and a 6,880 sq. ft. shop building (with about 840 sq. ft of additional office), positioned in a park like campus setting at one of Chico’s most central and desirable locations. The Hignell Companies themselves were not for sale, and remain as the highest caliber tenant, continuing the Hignell legacy of providing property management and development services that helped build the City of Chico over more than seven decades. The transaction was handled by Mike Donnelly who represented both the seller and the buyer.
KCOE Isom Building Sold
The buyer was coming out of a 1031 Tax Exchange after selling a 20,000 sq. ft. building at 3013 Ceres Ave., previously leased by the prestigious accounting firm KCOE -Isom.
KCOE-Isom is relocating to Meriam Park, and the stately building on Ceres Ave. was purchased by Golden State Farm Credit for a new corporate headquarters for an undisclosed price. The buyer in that transaction was represented by Bill Chance of Bill Chance Realty. The Seller was represented by Mike Donnelly of Coldwell Banker Commercial.
